BEREA Cleveland Browns T-Shirts , Ohio (AP) — Browns coach Freddie Kitchens isn’t quite ready to give his kickers the boot.Despite erratic performances — wide right, wide left, short, off the uprights — in training camp and exhibitions by incumbent Greg Joseph and rookie Austin Seibert, Kitchens said the team has no immediate plans to sign another kicker. That could change, though.“We are not trying to bring in a new kicker right now,” Kitchens said following Monday’s practice. “We have two guys right here that can kick the ball a long way. We need them to get their act right. We are not looking to replace them right now. We are looking to getting these guys better and continuing to get better.“The process of evaluation and the process of judging them has not concluded yet. When it concludes, then we will make that decision.”But with every miss, time is becoming an issue for the Browns, who endured kicking problems early last season and played in eight games decided by four points or fewer.Since the beginning of camp https://www.brownsfanshop.com/hats , both Joseph and Seibert have struggled with accuracy and consistency. On Monday, Joseph went 4 of 6 (he missed from 53, 56 yards) during field-goal drills and made a 44-yarder to cap a two-minute drive by the Browns’ first-team offense.Seibert was also 4 of 6 during the kicking session, but pushed a 40-yarder left in the two-minute drill. The fifth-round draft pick from Oklahoma has been especially sketchy, leading to questions about whether his struggles are more mental than physical.“He has to get it figured out,” Kitchens said. “If I make him nervous, I plan on being at the games.”Joseph, who missed four of 29 extra-point attempts last season, botched one in the preseason opener against Washington and was off the mark on a 53-yard field-goal attempt Saturday at Indianapolis.Seibert missed a 52-yarder against the Colts and hasn’t looked truly comfortable from the moment he arrived in May.Both kickers have plenty of leg strength, that’s not the issue. They just haven’t been precise with their aim Cleveland Browns Hoodie , and that can be scary for a team such as the Browns who have playoff aspirations.Kitchens needs one or both of them to be confident, which in turn will allow him to put them in the game without a moment’s hesitation.“When we send the field goal team out there, I do not want to send the field goal team out there thinking, ‘Maybe we will make it.’ I want to know that we are going to make it,” he said. “(Former Alabama Coach) Coach (Gene) Stallings used to tell me all the time when I step up into the pocket and I throw the ball, he wants to be able to close his eyes and know that it is made and that it is completed.“That is what I want. I want to be able to send them out there, turn around and go talk to the offense and hear about the score.”The Browns play their third preseason game on Friday at Tampa Bay, and Kitchens was asked if this could be a do-or-die week for his kickers.“Hopefully they’ve been treating it like that,” Kitchens said. “Everybody’s fighting for a job right now.”Kitchens is pretty clear on what he needs from Joseph and Seibert going forward.“I want the ball to go through and not outside those yellow poles,” he said.NOTES: DE Chad Thomas returned to practice a week after he was immobilized and carried from the field with a neck injury. … Kitchens said he’d “love” to have UFC champion and Cleveland native Stipe Miocic visit the Browns. Miocic won back his heavyweight title over the weekend by rallying to stop Daniel Cormier in the fourth round. “It seems like he really never gave up and just kept fighting https://www.brownsfanshop.com/James-Burgess-Jersey ,” Kitchens said. “Sometimes the best ability is reliability, availability and dependability, and I think he is a great demonstration of that.”… S Damarious Randall is sporting dyed blue hair as he pays off picking the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA Finals. They lost to Toronto. “This is my due diligence for the bet,” he said. … TE David Njoku has stitches in his head and can’t wear his helmet during individual drills. He’s been slowed the past week by a knee injury. The Cleveland Browns may not have taken the smoothest of paths to building an offensive line this season, but the work is paying off.The interior of the line has been solid from Week 1 with center JC Tretter and guards Kevin Zeitler and Joel Bitonio, but the tackles have struggled. Over the past few weeks, however, right tackle Chris Hubbard has settled down, and while it has only been two games, left tackle Greg Robinson has been an improvement over rookie Desmond Harrison.Add it all together Jim Brown Color Rush Jersey , and the Browns currently have the seventh-best offensive line in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus:Mayfield has not been the only beneficiary of the line’s play, as rookie running back Nick Chubb is coming off a 176-yard rushing game against the Atlanta Falcons that include a franchise-record 92-yard touchdown run.A quick run through the rest of the offensive line rankings shows some potential good news for the Browns defense as well.Cleveland has six games remaining on the schedule and get to play the Cincinnati Bengals (currently ranked No. 25) twice, the Houston Texans (No. 27) and Denver Broncos (No. 19) before the end of the season. Which means that while Mayfield’s uniform may continue to stay clean, Cincinnati’s Andy Dalton, Houston’s Deshaun Watson and Denver’s Case Keenum could have some long afternoons looming on the horizon.

Chuck Pagano https://www.thepackersfanshop.com/Demetri-Goodson-Jersey , S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, CB Buster Skrine, WR Cordarrelle Patterson, K Eddy Pineiro, RB David Montgomery, RB Mike Davis, WR Riley Ridley, G Ted Larsen.Key losses: Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, S Adrian Amos, CB Bryce Callahan, WR Josh Bellamy, RB Jordan Howard, K Cody Parkey, G Bryan Witzmann, G Eric Kush.Strengths: Pass rush and front seven overall are led by OLB Khalil Mack, who could improve on 12½-sack total after having full offseason and preseason to get ready — last year he had neither due to holdout. Roquan Smith JK Scott Jersey , in second year, and veteran Danny Trevathan at inside linebacker combine with DE Akiem Hicks and NT Eddie Goldman to key what was last year’s No. 1 run defense. Pass coverage is nearly as good behind All-Pro S Eddie Jackson, All-Pro CB Kyle Fuller and veteran CB Prince Amukamara, although it seems unlikely Bears can duplicate last year’s league-high 27 interceptions. Coach Matt Nagy’s creativity, overall personnel versatility featuring RB Tarik Cohen, WR Allen Robinson, WR Taylor Gabriel and Patterson, and veteran blockers, create hope offense will produce more big plays.Weaknesses: No one can be sure Pineiro is answer after kicking game ended last season with Cody Parkey’s double-doink missed field goal. QB Mitchell Trubisky improved greatly last year, but still needs consistency. Neither Montgomery nor Davis is proven NFL starter in backfield. Offensive line depth, particularly behind starters Charles Leno Jr. and Bobby Massie at tackle, is problem. Once Clinton-Dix and Skrine gain their bearings, little about defense should be troublesome, but scheme under Pagano has changed somewhat and it could slow down defenders for at least part ofseason.Fantasy Players To Watch: Robinson. Bears paid him like top receiver in free agency but he was coming off torn anterior cruciate ligament and made just 55 receptions. In this training camp, Robinson looks step faster, more athletic Brett Favre Color Rush Jersey , and has become Trubisky’s go-to receiver. Cohen always will be coveted fantasy player because of ability to score from various offensive positions.Vegas Says: Win Super Bowl 15-1. Over/under wins 9½.Expectations: Improvement of Trubisky’s downfield passing accuracy, within pocket and outside it, is anticipated by coaches. Bears picked upoption year of OLB Leonard Floyd. Even with coordinator change defense can become more devastating if Floyd justifies management’s faith by making leap to elite pass rusher. Montgomery and Davis give Nagy more versatility on offense as receivers out of backfield, and maybe offense then becomes less predictable. Schedule can make it tougher to repeat in NFC North: It’s fifth toughest (.520 opponents’ win percentage) and last year they played NFL’s easiest schedule (.430). Of course, such projections rarely are accurate. Kevin King impacts games. He’ll give up touchdowns or first downs and he’ll leap up to intercept or knock down a critical pass in a big spot. If he were a rookie, we’d call it growing pains or the learning curve of the NFL, but because this is technically Year 3—and because the Green Bay Packers could have drafted hometown favorite T.J. Watt instead—King’s play draws only criticism for his mistakes. The four interceptions, just one off the league lead, go unnoticed by fans. His 13 PBU’s, the same combined numbers as Stephon Gilmore, apparently don’t count. For those who say they aren’t seeing the flashes, they’re stuck in the confirmation bias, only remembering the bad. And in fairness, there’s plenty of bad. According to Pro Football Focus, King’s 790 yards allowed are the most by a cornerback this season. His 96.6 passer rating allowed is below average (though not terrible overall) and his four touchdowns allowed are tied for ninth most in the league. For the Packers’ part, they’ve stuck with him https://www.thepackersfanshop.com/Paul-Hornung-Jersey , showing no signs of a competition for King’s starting spot, whether it’s Tramon Williams, Tony Brown or anyone else. They’ve put their faith in the former second-round pick. It’s time for him to repay that faith. Plenty of plays where King draws the ire of fans don’t fall on his shoulders. The touchdown in Week 2 against the Vikings where he appeared to give up a long score actually falls on Jaire Alexander, who couldn’t quite get back to the middle of the field, his responsibility, to help King. A similar issue led to the George Kittle touchdown. King technically was the closest defender, but it wasn’t solely his responsibility to man up with Kittle in coverage. In fact he should have had help to the middle on both plays. In real time, particularly watching live on television, those types of intricacies often go unnoticed, as do his big plays. King thrived in his matchup with Alshon Jeffery in a game Green Bay lost. Interceptions against the Cowboys and Vikings essentially sealed those games and his pick of Daniel Jones on Sunday came on the very next drive after allowing a touchdown. These are real, tangible signs of progress. Between Alexander and King, no tandem in the league has disrupted more passes. What’s more, Alexander’s rating when targeted isn’t significantly better (93.2) but he gets the bigger benefit of the doubt for myriad reasons. Why do we treat King as if he’s significantly more experienced than Alexander when talking about their development? Alexander started as many games last year, 11, as King did in his first two seasons combined due to injury. In other words, they came into the season with the exact same number of starts under their belt. Yet Bart Starr Jersey , we dismiss Alexander’s missteps because of age, and of course his demeanor overall, but we don’t with King. But in terms of splash plays, King has his running mate beat this season even if Alexander’s “almost” plays are also pretty spectacular. All of that said, King’s inconsistencies hurt the team more often and in more impactful ways. Too often, he’s playing soft, off coverage. It’s easier for the twitchy, lightning quick Alexander to get away with that when Mike Pettine dials up a zone defense. But in King, where is the dog we saw in training camp last season who wanted to battle Davante Adams every rep? The guy who presses and plays physically? For the Packers to reach the heights they seek, this is the player they’ll require. And we have seen it in flashes over the last few years even going back to his rookie year. He’s still a little too content to play off, despite his length and size serving as key assets. They can’t be assets if he doesn’t use them. None of this excuses the inconsistent play, but it serves as an explanation for some of it. King is still a young player figuring the NFL out, just like Alexander (and Josh Jackson for that matter). But now he’s 22 starts into his career. He’s a veteran now and his team has a chance to compete for a Super Bowl. For the Packers defense to handle playoff level offenses, King needs to be the guy we have only seen in flashes, but on a more regular basis. It’s not time to give up on King. But it is time for him to prove himself and elevate this defense the way his talent hints he can.

New York GiantsThe Indianapolis Colts welcome one of their most electric opponents of the 2018 season on Sunday when they play their final regular season home game of the year against Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham Jr.’s New York Giants.COLTS MEDIA The Indianapolis Colts just completed a ten point comeback in the fourth quarter against the playoff hopeful Miami Dolphins to secure their 5th straight victory. What’s even more impressive about the victory is that they did all that without their starting center Ryan Kelly. Kelly has been playing like an All-Pro this season and is a big reason why the Colts were stringing together so many victories. With Kelly at starting center https://www.coltsfanshop.com/Margus-Hunt-Jersey , the Colts had a streak of four straight games without allowing a sack.Starting in place of Kelly was former fourth round pick Evan Boehm. Boehm started eight games for Arizona last year at right guard before being cut and signed to the Cardinals just before this season. Once the Colts lost guard Matt Slauson for the season, they poached Boehm off of the Cardinals practice squad for added depth. Although he hasn’t started a game at center in the NFL before this past Sunday, he did make 52 career starts at the position in college for Missouri.Boehm was very up and down in his first career start at center this past Sunday. The Dolphins rarely tested him in one-on-one and that definitely made his job easier. With Joe Haeg returning to practice this week, some are calling for him to replace Boehm at center against the Jaguars. I will show you all through this film room that Boehm did play well enough to earn another start and that he continually got better as the game progressed on Sunday. Let’s jump into the film though to see what I’m talking about. Film ReviewA common staple of the Colts’ offensive line dominance in past weeks is their ability on pulls. Kelly was borderline elite in this area as his athleticism and ability to locate defenders were pretty great. Boehm is not quite the athlete Kelly is and he does struggle with locating his targets when pulling. Here, Boehm is able to get out in front of the run but is a bit hesitant about who to block when he gets out there. He ends up blocking nobody on this play as a result which is not ideal. This next rep by Boehm is a really good one, as he is operating from a position of strength here. Boehm is a very short, stocky lineman and excels more in tight quarters rather than onthe move or in space. He is down blocking here, away from the play. He does a great job of getting low on his block and driving defensive lineman Ziggy Hood out of the play. He also directs his block of Hood towards edge rusher Charles Harris, which takes him out of the play as well. Overall a great block by Boehm to take two defenders out of the play. If Marlon Mack had better vision and saw the cutback lane that Boehm created, this play could have gone for more yards. This next rep shows a few of the flaws I saw in Boehm when run blocking in the first half. The first one that I mentioned earlier is finding his targets and taking proper angles in run blocking. Here he runs past his man and is not able to even get a hand on linebacker Kiko Alonso. I also noticed that Boehm is fairly stiff in the open field, especially when he is attempting to get to the second level against linebackers in the run game. He does a good job of getting to the next level but where he needs to improve now is locating his targets, taking better angles, and engaging in blocks with linebackers Peyton Manning Jersey , Too often he whiffs in the open field like this. Earlier I showed a clip of Boehm pulling and failing to diagnose which player he needs to block on the play. Here, Boehm actually does a great job of getting through the line and finding his linebacker that he needs to block. He proceeds to sell out on the block and dives at the linebackers legs to get a body on him. This is actually a pretty solid block that likely would have sprung Mack for a big gain if Anthony Castonzo was able to hold his block on the outside. Definitely a much better rep from Boehm on this inside pull with a much shorter distance to cover and his target more easy to diagnose. This next rep is actually quite comical, as it is a reminder that Boehm is still new to this team and trying to learn the offense. Playing center in the NFL is one of the hardest things to do in all of football. On top of being asked to block 330 pound nose guards right after you snap the ball, centers also need to be the captain of the offensive line along with understanding all the protection calls and run designs. That is a lot to take in for a guy who has been on the team only for a few weeks. Here he clearly has a miscommunication with Quenton Nelson or simply blocked the wrong way. It is funny to see him spin around like this at the line but these type of mistakes will happen with a player still relatively new to the team. This next clip again shows Boehm climbing to the second level and whiffing once he gets to the linebacker. Alonso is much quicker than Boehm— obviously as Alonso is a linebacker— and is able to make Boehm whiff on his block en route to making a tackle. In the future, I’d like to see Boehm get his hands inside on the linebacker once he initially engages the block so that he has complete control of the rep and where the linebacker moves. Watch how Braden Smith blocks the opposite linebacker on this rep. He gets his hands inside and is able to keep hold of him until the end of the play. I want to see more of that from Boehm going forward. Another rep from Boehm where he misses Alonso in space. This may be the worst rep of all because he actually does establish good position initially in front of Alonso. The main problem here is that Boehm just doesn’t get his hands up and on Alonso before he makes his move inside. Boehm has to get his hands up and on quicker linebackers or they are simply going to go around him to make plays. He has the strength advantage over players such as Alonso, he needs to use it. Use your hands, control the block, and open up the run lane. Now I have been a bit hard on Boehm so far in this piece. So let me show a clip on something I absolutely love about him. He was really solid in pass pro on Sunday, particularly in finding work. The Dolphins run a 4-3 defense so rarely is there a player lined up over the center on pass blocking attempts. As a result, Boehm is tasked with having to find work on unsuspecting lineman already engaged with guards. On this rep, Boehm lays out the defensive lineman engaged with Mark Glowinski after scanning for any late rushers. I love this bully mentality to find work and put defenders on the ground. Now every clip I have shown so far was Boehm in the first half. The rest of the clips are in the second half of the game on Sunday and you’ll notice a player getting better as the game went on. I mentioned earlier that Boehm impressed me a lot in pass blocking on Sunday. One area where I was really impressed though was in his handling and diagnosing of stunts up front. This is something that Nelson, Kelly, and quite frankly most guards really struggle with in their first few starts in the NFL. Boehm however handles these like a veteran as he is very patient and does not get pulled out of position when handling stunts. He is able to shut down the stunt from Cameron Wake with ease on this play. The Dolphins really didn’t test Boehm much with one on one reps Al Woods Color Rush Jersey , which shocked me quite a bit. Here is one of those rare plays where Boehm was tasked with blocking a defensive tackle one on one on a blitz. The defensive lineman— Ziggy Hood— attempts to get up field on Boehm and actually does get a good jump off of the snap. Boehm does a great job of executing the “snatch and trap” technique of blocking to get Hood onto the ground. He notices that Hood’s leverage is pulling him forward and Hood is off balance. Boehm then pulls Hood’s arms down, leading to him falling forward and giving Andrew Luck and open throwing lane. Excellent blocking by Boehm here. This next rep by Boehm is probably his best block of the entire afternoon. Again operating more in the “phone booth” rather than in open space, Boehm is able to execute two key blocks on one play to spring Mack for a huge gain. Boehm first chips defensive lineman Akeem Spence to help Glowinski secure that block. Then, he is able to work to the second level and secure a block on linebacker Raekwon McMillan. By blocking McMillan out of the gap, Boehm also gets in the way of the backside linebacker— Alonso— and throws off his angle. To top off the whole thing, he buries McMillan in the ground to finish the play. Overall he takes out three defenders here and sparks a huge play for the offense. Excellent rep here by Boehm.I mentioned earlier how I love how quickly Boehm is able to diagnose and react to stunts. Here we see that ability again on full display. He initially carries the defensive lineman Spence inside before handing him off to Castonzo. He then— rather athletically— works back inside to pick up the inside stunt from Robert Quinn. This quick diagnoses of the stunt play likely saves a sack and I am thoroughly impressed by the awareness he displayed on plays like this all Sunday long. This last rep may not be his best of the day, but it is my personal favorite. He starts off the play double teaming inside with Glowinski on Spence. After he helps Glowinski control that block he then finds work on Nelson’s side and absolutely crushes defensive lineman Sylvester Williams. My favorite part of the clip— which actually made me chuckle quite a bit— is that it appears that Boehm is thinking about hitting Williams then ultimately decides to once he sees Williams open up his body by jumping up to defend the pass. I love lineman who find work and he definitely excels at bullying defensive lineman around.AnalysisThe Colts’ five game sackless streak came to an end this past Sunday, but that was not because of Evan Boehm. He excelled in pass blocking and showed no sign of a drop off in replacing the injured Ryan Kelly. Where he really did struggle though was reaching and maintaining blocks in the second level. He struggled with the lateral ability of linebackers in space and needs to really improve getting his hands on them so he can control the block.Overall I’d say it was a solid showing from the young center. He displayed an impressive mean streak in finishing blocks and finding work and showed some exellent awareness in pass blocking. He may be more limited than Kelly but he should be quite serviceable until Kelly is able to return. In short though, Boehm should absolutely be the starter until Kelly is able to return from his knee injury.

New York Giants has been focused on what the offense hasn’t been able to do with the talent at its disposal. The struggles on defense might be overlooked because of the opposite problem — there was a clear lack of overall talent on that side of the ball at key positions. Now as the Giants focus their midseason transition on the defense Color Rush Dexter Lawrence Jersey , we’ll get a bit of a new look when Washington comes to the Meadowlands in Week 8.By the numbersFor more information on marginal efficiency and marginal explosiveness, go here.Time for a youth movementWith the trades of Eli Apple and Damon Harrison earlier in the week, two starting spots opened up on the defense — spots likely to be filled by younger players looking for a shot to make a bigger impact. In Apple’s spot, B.W. Webb is likely to move from the slot to outside and defensive coordinator James Bettcher said both Grant Haley and Sean Chandler would get time in the slot. Haley is an undrafted free agent cornerback out of Penn State, who the Giants made a big effort to sign following the draft. After an up and down preseason, Haley was cut and signed to the practice squad with the cut down to a 53-man roster. Haley was promoted prior to the Monday night game against the Atlanta Falcons, but only played three defensive snaps. At Penn State, the 5-foot-9 Haley played both in the slot and outside with success at both areas. Last season Haley allowed just a 43.5 percent completion percentage on 131 pass snaps and 23 targets in the slot, per the PFF Draft Guide — though he only spent 38 percent of his pass snaps in the slot.Chandler, also undrafted, was a surprise player to make the initial 53-man roster. To this point in the season New York Giants Jersey 2019 , Chandler has only been on the field for one defensive snap, but has been on the field for 51 percent of special teams snaps. He was a safety at Temple and through the preseason, so a move to the slot would be a slight position change.Replacing Harrison will be more of a team effort. While John Jenkins best fits the profile of a 3-4 nose tackle (327 pounds), the Giants are more often in nickel with a four-man line and are likely to go a little smaller on the interior with more snaps for Dalvin Tomlinson and rookie B.J. Hill. This season Tomlinson had already played more snaps than Harrison — 57.5 percent to 54 percent — but getting Hill on the field more (39.7 percent of defensive snaps played) will be a positive thing for the growth of the defense. Despite playing significantly less often, Hill only has one fewer run tackle (5) at or behind the line of scrimmage than Tomlinson (6) — both still well below Harrison, who led the team with 9. Hill has also shown the ability to rush the passer from both the interior and on the edge in a four-man front. Hill’s two sacks are tied for the team lead and his three tackles for loss are now technically also tied for the team lead (Harrison had four). Adrian Peterson is backOn the other side of the line and the other side of a youth movement is Adrian Peterson. After a weird season with the New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals, Peterson looks more like the player of old in his current tenure with Washington. But while he’s looked closer to the Peterson of old, he’s added a new dimension to his game — running from shotgun. Part of the downfall of Peterson’s ability to play in the modern NFL was how one dimensional he made an offense while he was on the field. He wasn’t going to catch passes and he was only going to be able to run with the quarterback under center. But this season, Peterson already has 37 rushing attempts from shotgun, which ties his career high for a single season set back in 2010. He’s also been slightly more efficient from shotgun with a 49 percent success rate opposed to a 45 percent success rate under center this season. Peterson is also once again making defenders miss. He’s 10th in the league with 22 combined broken tackles on rushes and receptions — an average of a broken tackle on 20.2 percent of his touches. That might be a problem against a Giants team that has continually struggled to tackle well. Curtis Riley and Alec Ogletree are both tied for the third-most broken tackles in the league with six — that accounts for 17.6 percent of Riley’s tackle attempts and 20 percent of Ogletree’s, per Sports Info Solutions. Ogletree did not practice on Thursday Red Dexter Lawrence Jersey , so his status may be in doubt. He’s played every defensive snap for the Giants this season.Wanted: A pass rushThe Giants had three sacks of Matt Ryan on the first two drives against the Falcons and it looked like it was going to be a long night for the Atlanta quarterback. Then for the rest of the game, he was only hit two more times and brought down once on a sack negated by a defensive hold.Per SIS charting from Football Outsiders, the Giants are now 19th in defensive pressure rate and even when the Giants are getting pressure they’ve been rarely been able to bring down the opposing quarterback. Per FO, they rank 31st in adjusted sack rate. Washington is 18th in offensive pressure rate allowed and quarterback Alex Smith holds onto the ball longer than the average quarterback — 2.78 seconds per Next Gen Stats — despite his average pass being shorter than the league average.Olivier Vernon has made an impact since he’s been back — he’s already sixth on the team with five pressures despite playing in just two games — but the other secondary pieces of the pass rush have not been able to make a difference. Kareem Martin leads the team with 12 pressures, but much of that was at the start of the season when he was the team’s primary pass rusher. EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate III never hesitated to take a prescribed fertility drug because the doctor who wrote the prescription told him he had given it to other NFL players and it was not banned.Speaking to reporters a day after an independent arbiter upheld his suspension for the first four games of the regular season, Tate said Wednesday he was considering legal action against the doctor to recover the $1.2 million in salary he will lose during his suspension. He did not identify the doctor. In the candid interview after practice, Tate said he was frustrated, accepted both the blame and the punishment, and added he was having a tough time for letting down his teammates and the organization for the start of the season.“I have been thinking about this since April and May,” Tate said. “This has been on my mind. I have lost a lot of sleep. It’s kind of hurt me to my core having to explain to the organization what is going on. I’m just ready to move forward. I just want to play football. You look at me. I am not trying to cheat.”Tate signed a $37.5 million contract as a free agent with the Giants in March. He said he started taking a fertility drug in April and a couple of days later said he was randomly tested for drugs by the league. He learned shortly after that the drug Cheap Dexter Lawrence Jersey , which he said was clomifene, was a banned substance.Under the current collective bargaining agreement, players can use fertility drugs, but they must get prior approve before taking them. Tate did not.“Initially the doctor said it was not a banned substance and he had given it to other NFL players, that’s why I trusted it and kept living my life,” Tate said. The 10-year veteran said he had second thoughts after talking about another player being suspended with someone who worked for him.“A light kind of went off in my head and I decided to call the doctor and make sure, just to make myself feel better,” Tate said. “I asked what the active ingredient was and he looked it up right then and there, and sure enough it was a banned substance.“If the doctor says I’m not sure, 100% I would have looked into it,” Tate said 2019 Dexter Lawrence Jersey , adding he had looked into other drugs prescribed for him. “If the doctor had said I had never given it to any other NFL players, 1,000% I would have looked into it.”Tate and his wife, Elise, had their second child in February. He would not say why they went to a fertility specialist two months later.“That’s pretty personal,” he said. “I don’t want to get into it,”While he didn’t answer the question, he was reminded he called two former Seattle teammates selfish for being suspended for using a recreation drug.“That’s a completely different situation than me taking a substance trying to have another kid,” said Tate, who split last season with the Lions and Eagles, catching 74 receptions for 795 yards and four touchdowns in 15 games.Clomifene Dexter Lawrence NFL Draft , which has the trade name of Clomid, can increase testosterone in males.“It’s very frustrating. I have no problem accepting the punishment,” said Tate, who first tweeted about his suspension in late July, saying he would appeal it. “Ultimately I am responsible for what is put in my body, ultimately. The tough thing I am dealing with is that I am letting down a lot of people. The guys in the locker room. The people in the organization. That’s what has been crushing me this whole situation.”Tate is eligible to practice in the preseason and play in games. He can have no contact with the team during his suspension.Giants coach Pat Shurmur said a number of players will be used to replace Tate, including Bennie Fowler, Cody Latimer, Russell Shepard, Darius Slayton and TJ Jones.

to their AFC East nemesis for help.New England Patriots linebackers coach Brian Flores is a finalist in the Dolphins’ coaching search White Devin McCourty Jerseys , a person familiar with the decision said Friday, and they’re expected to offer him the job when his team’s postseason ends. The person confirmed the decision to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the Dolphins weren’t commenting publicly about the status of the search. If they fail to reach a deal with Flores, they haven’t ruled out Dallas Cowboys secondary coach Kris Richard.Flores has been a Patriots assistant for 11 seasons and took over defensive play-calling a year ago after the departure of defensive coordinator Matt Patricia. In Miami he would replace Adam Gase, who was fired after three seasons and hired Wednesday as coach of the New York Jets.New England plays the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC playoffs Sunday. The Dolphins have been also-rans to the first-place Patriots in the AFC East 15 of the past 16 years.Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and general manager Chris Grier zeroed in on Flores after interviewing two Dolphins assistants Friday: special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi and offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains. Both were considered long shots.Ross and Grier earlier interviewed New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Dennis Allen and Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.Miami has finished with six to eight wins in nine of the past 10 years, and hasn’t won a playoff game since 2000. As a result, the 78-year-old Ross said the Dolphins will abandon their win-now approach and build with the long term in mind.A roster revamp is expected to include the departure of quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has been with the team since 2012. The next coach, who will report to Grier, will be Miami’s 10th since 2004, including three interim coaches. The greatest quarterback to ever put on a helmet, capable of doing things nobody else could ever do, a complete revolution of the position and the game as a whole...and that quarterback who plays for the Patriots. At least that’s the picture the mainstream media likes to paint when it comes to Rodgers and Brady, quarterbacks who have, remarkably, only met head-to-head twice in their careers. So when the Packers, who beat the Patriots in Green Bay in 2014, came into Foxboro on November 4th, 2018 for a Sunday Night matchup, the hype was tremendous. The Packers were having a bit of a see-saw year, sitting at 3-3 and struggling to maintain consistency. The Pats Devin McCourty Jerseys 2019 , however, had rattled off 5 straight since Week 4 and were looking to keep the momentum going as the 2nd half of the season got underway. A lot of people had Green Bay vs. New England as their Super Bowl picks back in August, and while neither team looked dominant, the talent of the 2 QBs leading their respective teams was just too great not to respect. The game was fairly close for the first three quarters; New England jumped to 7-0 lead on their first possession, but Green Bay hung around, and both teams went into the locker room at halftime with the Patriots up 17-10. The Packers recieved the opening kickoff to start the third quarter and went straight down the field in just seven plays and three minutes to tie it right up at 17. As Collinsworth tried his best to stop drooling over what he just saw, the Patriots got right to work, answering with their own 74 yard drive that brought the offense all the way down to the GB one yard line. Unfortunately, James White was stuffed on 1st and goal, Cordarrelle Patterson was stuffed on 2nd and goal, Chris Hogan couldn’t get open on 3rd and goal, and a pass intended for Josh Gordon fell incomplete on 4th and goal, thus stalling the drive and returning possession to Rodgers - who would gain three yards on three plays and punt it right back. The Patriots couldn’t get anything going, however, and once again the offense left the field with no points on the board. The Packers, starting from their own 7, quickly made it all the way to the New England 34 on back-to-back 25 yard grabs from rookie Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Green Bay seemed poised to take their first lead of the game as the 3rd quarter came to a close. However, on 1st and 10 from the 34, on the very first play of the fourth, running back Aaron Jones coughed up the ball on a tackle from Lawrence Guy, recovered by Stephon Gilmore. Just like that, momentum was back with New England, and Tommy B wasn’t about to let another opportunity go to waste. The Patriots went 76 yards on 10 plays White Isaiah Wynn Jerseys , giving James White the opportunity to punch it in from the one yard line - fitting, seeing as how White was the main reason the Patriots were down there in the first place. As well as Julian Edelman, of course. On 2nd and 6 with the Patriots driving into Packer territory, Brady hit Edelman on a quick screen in the backfield. He didn’t even try to fake the run, instead looking downfield as if to hit a streaking...Dwayne Allen (go ahead and watch the replay. Allen was the decoy). As the defense sat back on their heels, not biting on the fake, James White snuck out into the opposite side of the field, just behind the entire offensive line, and got into position just as Edelman hit him right between the numbers. Running behind an absolute wall of beef, White ran completely untouched down to the 10 yard line and down to the 2 for a 37 yard gain. It’s only fair that he then got to register the score. With the Patriots up 24-17 and 2nd half possessions at a premium, the Packers needed to answer. Unfortunately for Green Bay, the question was asked by Trey Flowers and Adrian Claiborne, as they sacked Rodgers for a nine yard loss on 3rd and 6 to set up an unmanageable 4th and 16, forcing another punt. The Patriots needed just three plays to put the game away for good. The first, a Julian Edelman reverse, went for 17. The next, a James White run, went for no gain. And the next, a pass to Josh Gordon, ended up in the end zone.It was not, however, an ordinary pass.On 2nd and 10 from the 45, Tommy B sent Chris Hogan in motion and faked the screen to him at the snap. The secondary, still stinging from getting caught on the last screen Isaiah Wynn Jerseys 2019 , immediately sprinted towards the line of scrimmage, leaving both Edelman and Gordon wide open on identical slant routes. Brady overthrew Edelman, who reached for the ball, and hit Gordon right in stride as he raced to the end zone for a 55 yard TD. The Packer defense, caught with their pants down, could only watch as Gordon put the game away. 31-17 is what the score would remain as the Pats moved to 7-3 and the Packers dropped to 3-4.Not only was this game a great team win over a respected NFC opponent, but it was highlighted by these two amazing plays, both of which are awesome on their own, but combined to seal the win makes them that much sweeter. All in primetime too, over the QB that a lot of pundits can’t crown the GOAT fast enough. Now let the record show that I’m a big Aaron Rodgers fan. I think he’s phenomenal, and watching him play is a privilege. But I called him overrated after this game, and I stand by that - although that isn’t his fault, nor is that on any Packer fan. Rodgers himself admits Brady is better than he is, and most Packers fans will gladly admit the same while still bending the knee to the King of their North. But with Peyton Manning gone and the Brady vs. Manning debate definitively put to bed, there needs to be another QB to talk about in comparison to Brady in order for failing sports journalists and ego-maniacal windbags to bloviate about in a desperate attempt to draw ratings, and Rodgers is that guy. That’s not a knock on Rodgers, nor is it an indictment of his ability; the media started this ridiculous conversation, and that’s all there is to it.So Brady beating Rodgers here didn’t at all factor into my decision to place this moment here at Number 13; it was the primetime win, and the awesome plays that led to it, that gave it the distinction.Full game highlights here.

Washington Redskins have not always been complimentary of their time with a franchise that has experienced its share of dysfunction over the past two decades.Kirk Cousins conceivably could have joined that chorus of critics http://www.jetslockerroom.com/authentic-c.j.-mosley-jersey , a cacophony amplified just last week by Kyle Shanahan. After all, the team's disinterest in giving him a longer-term, market-rate contract left Cousins as the rare starting quarterback playing on a one-year deal for two seasons in a row before becoming a free agent and signing with the Minnesota Vikings in 2018.That's not his style, though, nor is it his story."Honestly for me, when I think of my time in Washington, I just think of the word gratitude. I'm so grateful that I was drafted by them," Cousins said. The fourth-round selection in 2012 out of Michigan State finally became a full-timer in his fourth year, after second overall pick Robert Griffin III flamed out."They picked me when nobody else did. I was sitting around waiting for a phone call for 2½ days," Cousins said. "I was given an opportunity to start when there weren't many people outside of that building who thought I should."Cousins will face his former team for the first time on Thursday night, when the surging Vikings (5-2) host the reeling Redskins (1-6). As fate would have it, the player Cousins replaced Avery Williamson Jersey , Case Keenum, now has his old job. After a one-year stop in Denver, Keenum was traded to Washington. He will visit U.S. Bank Stadium for the first time since the "Minneapolis Miracle" pass he completed to Stefon Diggs for the winning touchdown on the final play of Minnesota's divisional round game against New Orleans after the 2017 season that was a career best for the longtime backup."There's not enough time to reminisce," Keenum said. "It's a special time, a special play, a special group of guys, something I'll remember forever, but not necessarily this week."Like his successor in purple, naturally, the significance of playing against his old team was mostly an afterthought for Keenum. Even if there were actually some lingering bitterness fueling extra motivation, well, neither of them would acknowledge it."I've played long enough to where I feel like if I keep going like I'm going I might play against my old team every week Womens Le'Veon Bell Jersey ," Keenum said. "It's adding up now, so it's just a normal game for me."QUARTERBACK CAROUSELWhen the Redskins let Cousins leave as a free agent after trading for Alex Smith and signing him to a contract extension, they thought they'd stabilized the quarterback position. Instead, because of Smith's broken leg and assorted other chaos, they have played six and started five different quarterbacks over the 23 games they've played since Cousins left.Smith, longtime backup Colt McCoy, Mark Sanchez, Josh Johnson and Keenum have all started at least one game. Rookie Dwayne Haskins, their first-round draft pick this year, appeared in relief. Cousins started all 48 regular-season games from 2015-2017. Keenum has been interim coach Bill Callahan's choice since he stepped in more than two weeks ago for the fired Jay Gruden, who preferred McCoy."I made it known back then when Kirk was here: We both talked about playing together for years. But things happen," running back Chris Thompson said.ALL DAY IS STILL ALL RIGHTThe reunion theme on Thursday is not just for quarterbacks. Redskins running back Adrian Peterson has already played at Minnesota since his 10-season run with the Vikings ended White Nathan Shepherd Jerseys , but the return of the franchise's all-time leading rusher will still be a big part of the show.Particularly since Callahan has steered the offense toward a throwback strategy, with Peterson carrying the ball 43 times for 199 yards over the past two games. With 60 rushing yards, Peterson would pass Jerome Bettis and LaDainian Tomlinson to land in sixth place on the NFL's all-time list.An ankle injury has him listed as questionable, but there's little doubt that he'll try to play."I was there for a decade and still to this day, I have fans that follow me," Peterson said. "I have fans that come to Redskins games that are die-hard Vikings fans because they're Adrian Peterson fans. The love is always going to be there."THIELEN'S HURT Cousins didn't miss a beat last week after two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Adam Thielen left the game in Detroit because of a hamstring injury that occurred during his first-quarter touchdown catch.Whether going deep to Diggs, toward the sideline to rookie wide receiver Olabisi Johnson, or underneath to tight ends Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith Jr., Cousins had plenty of options that will have to remain viable again this week while Thielen sits out for the first time in his NFL career. He has played in 90 consecutive games, including three in the playoffs.THIRD TO NONEOne sure sign of a struggling team is a lack of success on third down, and the Redskins are checking that box on both sides of the ball. The defense has allowed opponents to convert 49.5% of their opportunities, the third-worst rate in the league. On offense Nathan Shepherd Jerseys 2019 , they're second to last at 24.7%, with penalties a significant problem. Washington has been flagged 71 times for 434 yards, nullifying 157 yards that otherwise would have been gained."Having those third downs that are third-and-2, third-and-3, third-and-4, and not those third-and-10 third downs, make a difference a lot," right tackle Morgan Moses said. "We've just got to continue doing what we do: handing the ball off, running the ball, putting ourselves in the best position possible." NEW YORK (AP) — The Jets‘ search for a new coach is kicking into high gear. The team announced Saturday it completed its interview with former Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy, the third known coach to meet with New York since Todd Bowles was fired last Sunday night. The Jets met with Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy on Wednesday, and former Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase on Friday. And White Chris Herndon Jerseys , they’re far from done with sitting down with candidates.New York is also expected to interview Cowboys defensive backs coach/passing game coordinator Kris Richard in Dallas on Sunday and Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Todd Monken early next week. ESPN reported that Monken will meet with the Jets on Tuesday after interviewing with Green Bay on Saturday and Cincinnati on Monday.McCarthy had a 125-77-2 regular-season record in 13 seasons with the Packers, and went 10-8 in the postseason — including a Super Bowl victory over Pittsburgh to cap the 2010 season. The 55-year-old coach led Green Bay to the playoffs for eight consecutive seasons spanning 2009 through 2016, a streak at the time matched only by New England. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed most of the 2017 season with a broken collarbone as the Packers finished 7-9.But, his return this season didn’t translate into a postseason appearance — and it ultimately cost McCarthy his job as the Packers went 4-7-1 under him and the team replaced him with Joe Philbin on an interim basis. There were also reports that Rodgers and McCarthy didn’t see eye-to-eye on playcalling in recent seasons.McCarthy is perhaps the biggest name among known popular candidates for the Jets, who have failed to reach the playoffs since the 2010 season under Rex Ryan. Whomever comes to New York will be charged with furthering the development of quarterback Sam Darnold , who had an up-and-down rookie season but finished with a solid final month after missing three games with a foot injury.McCarthy has been lauded for his work with quarterbacks, most notably toward the tail end of Brett Favre’s career with the Packers and then with Rodgers, who was a two-time league MVP and set several NFL records under the coach’s tutelage.McCarthy is a native of Pittsburgh who began his coaching career at Fort Hays State (1987-88) before moving on to the University of Pittsburgh (1989-92). He spent time as an NFL assistant with Kansas City (1993-98), Green Bay (1999), New Orleans (2000-04) and San Francisco (2005) — as the offensive coordinator for both the Saints and 49ers — before being hired as the Packers’ coach in 2006.

in a NFC North divisional matchup. Both teams are coming off a loss Mackensie Alexander Jersey , so both are hungry for a win. It would be real nice if the Vikings can get a win considering Minnesota’s bye is next week. With a key divisional game at hand, here’s my three things to watch for:If Diggs is out, look for Treadwell and RobinsonStefon Diggs is dealing with a rib injury and is listed as questionable moving into Sunday. Chad Beebe was called up from the practice squad, so that could be a sign that Diggs doesn’t play. It could also mean Beebe will just be used as a special teams guy.If that’s the case and Diggs doesn’t play, then I would assume Thielen would be double covered throughout most of the game. If he is double teamed, then I would think Laquon Treadwell will get some more targets, as well as Aldrick Robinson. Obviously Robinson is kind of a deep-threat, touchdown target. Robinson has five receptions for 95 yards and three touchdowns. Treadwell has seemed to improve over the past few weeks. He caught all four of his targets against Arizona and all three against the Jets. Last week he caught thee of five targets against the Saints. This season he’s recorded 25 catches for 216 yards and one touchdown. Boone backing up MurrayWith Roc Thomas out and Dalvin Cook playing under limited snaps leaves Latavius Murray to take over a majority of the workload. Mike Boone will be a solid backup for Murray when he needs relief. Boone has rushed for 47 yards off 11 carries in the six games he’s participated in this season. If you watched the preseason, you know that he was pretty productive. Murray will hopefully continue to stay consistent. The past three games he’s had 52 carries for 280 yards and four rushing touchdowns. My thought is Boone will have 6 rushes for 30 yards. I think he’ll be beneficial in the passing game Laquon Treadwell Jersey , only a few catches though, nothing too crazy. What does a loss to the Lions mean?Let’s say the Vikings do lose this game. The Vikes will be 4-4-1, will Zimmer be on the hot seat? Should he be? I think he’s going to address issues after the game if that is the case, as in he may blame himself.I believe the management wouldn’t fire Zimmer, but anything can happen. Could George Edwards be on the hot seat if the Lions put up more than 30 points? I might overthink things, but as a fan I’m getting sick of mediocrity. Hold people accountable (not saying it’s either of their faults). I get Minnesota have had injuries with some key players, but there shouldn’t be excuses. There’s a 53-man roster for a reason, and if the backups can’t get the job done then maybe they should find different backups, right?Predictions:Murray rushes for 120 yards and a touchdown.Cousins throws for 245 yards Ben Gedeon Jersey , two touchdowns and an interception.Thielen breaks for 100-yards receiving.Defense/Special Teams scores a touchdownVikings win 28-17SKOL! With a roster built for the Super Bowl, the Minnesota Vikings were in no position to practice patience with a struggling kicker.Rather than hoping Daniel Carlson could refocus after missing all three of his field goal attempts in the tie game at Green Bay, the Vikings waived the rookie on Monday and punted on the fifth-round draft pick they used on him five months ago.Two of Carlson’s misses came in overtime on Sunday, forcing the Vikings to settle for a 29-29 draw with the rival Packers. When asked by a reporter how the decision was reached, coach Mike Zimmer said, “Did you see the game?”Carlson missed from 48 yards in the second quarter and 49 yards in the extra period, before his 35-yard try on the game’s final play also went wide right.“Yeah, it was pretty easy,” Zimmer said. The Vikings didn’t immediately add a replacement for Carlson Jaleel Johnson Jersey , but Zimmer confirmed that free agent Dan Bailey was making his way to Minnesota for a physical exam. That made it all but certain the Vikings will sign Bailey, the second-most accurate field goal kicker in NFL history. The 30-year-old was released by the Dallas Cowboys right before the regular season began in a cost-saving move following his injury-influenced regression in 2017.Bailey hurt his groin in the sixth game of the season at San Francisco and missed the next four weeks. Upon his return, he missed five of 13 field goal attempts and also had the first two failed extra points of his seven-year NFL career. With a field goal rate greater than 88 percent, Bailey is behind only Baltimore’s Justin Tucker for the best percentage in league history.Carlson was awarded the job when the Vikings let Kai Forbath go on Aug. 20, and Carlson pulled two field-goal tries wide left in an exhibition game four days later. In the season opener against the 49ers on Sept. 9, Carlson converted his only field goal attempt, from 48 yards, plus three extra points. Then came the debacle at Lambeau Field , after which Carlson acknowledged he’d lost some faith in his ability upon lining up for his last try.“It’s disappointing for me personally. The team fought so hard. We expect to win that Pat Elflein Jersey , and I expect to make those kicks to win the game for the team,” Carlson said. “That last one was probably more just confidence after missing twice early. That is frustrating. That shorter one I should never miss like that.”Since Zimmer took the job in 2014, the Vikings have had plenty of these problems. Blair Walsh never fully recovered from his 27-yard miss in the subzero cold of the playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks after the 2015 season.Walsh was let go midway through the 2016 season in favor of Forbath, whose biggest trouble was extra points. Forbath performed relatively well in 2017 as the Vikings advanced to the NFC championship game, but general manager Rick Spielman sought an upgrade with Carlson, who left Auburn as the all-time leading scorer in Southeastern Conference history.Carlson sent 9 of 10 kickoffs for touchbacks, and the other one was a squib returned for 8 yards to Green Bay’s 31. But all the leg strength in the world won’t make up for any setbacks on the mental side of this pressure-packed job.“That’s life. I don’t know. It’s hard to figure out,” Zimmer said. “You think you’ve got a guy for a while, and then he goes out and misses three in a big game. But things happen I guess.”The Vikings traded two sixth-round picks to the New York Jets for the opportunity to move up in the fifth round for Carlson.“That’s water off a duck’s back Dalvin Cook Jersey ,” Zimmer said. “We’ll get some more sixth-rounders next year. I’m not worried about that.”The Vikings signed wide receiver Aldrick Robinson, a seventh-year veteran who was most recently with San Francisco and played with quarterback Kirk Cousins in Washington in 2012 and 2013.“He really liked him. He’s a fast guy,” Zimmer said.___

Corey Linsley Jersey White , some of the top names on the market may come off the board before it begins."The Green Bay Packers need some help on the defensive side of the football. The outside linebacker and safety positions appear to be the team’s biggest needs on defense, and this year’s crop of free agents appears to be an excellent group to help fill those holes. However, franchise and transition tags could throw a wrench into the Packers’ plans.Tuesday, February 19th is the first day that NFL teams are allowed to begin applying the tags to their soon-to-be free agent players, and several names near the tops of most free agent lists are expected to receive a tag of some sort. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the names of several players who his sources think will be tagged, and quite a few are at the two positions mentioned earlier.Click here for a quick primer on the different types of tags that are available. Here’s a look at a few of those names and how that could affect the Packers’ plans for free agency.Edge RushersDeMarcus Lawrence, CowboysIf Lawrence gets a tag this year, that will be two years in a row. A franchise tag would pay Lawrence 120% of his salary from last year; because of his tag amount a year ago, this year’s tag amount would be just under $20.6 million. Is that a reasonable value? Lawrence does have back-to-back years with double-digit sacks and at least 20 hits on the quarterback, and he also has added six forced fumbles in that time. He is seen as one of the top edge rushers set to hit the market this year, and he would undoubtedly cash in with a huge deal if Dallas allows him to walk.Jadeveon Clowney, TexansWhile Lawrence is primarily a 4-3 defensive end Womens Justin McCray Jersey , Clowney plays a hybrid position, lining up in both two- and three-point stances for Houston. That versatility should serve him well on the open market, but Schefter reports that he will likely be tagged as well. After suffering injuries in each of his first two seasons, Clowney has missed just three games in the last three years. He finally seemed to turn it on in that stretch, and he has 18.5 sacks in the past two seasons. He would fit nearly any team, which would make him a highly-sought-after player.Dee Ford, ChiefsFord being on this list is intriguing. He appears to be a great fit in a 3-4 as an outside linebacker, and indeed he had great production in his last two full seasons. He missed ten games in 2017 due to injury, but had 10 and 13 sacks in 2016 and 2018, respectively. However, with Kansas City reportedly moving to more of a 4-3 scheme, he will be asked to rush with his hand in the dirt more often if he returns. For the Packers Lane Taylor Jersey White , Ford probably made the most sense as a target out of these three top edge rushers. He has familiarity with the Packers’ coaches, as new outside linebackers coach Mike Smith was his position coach last season in Kansas City. He also has extensive experience in a relatively similar scheme — KC’s recently-fired defensive coordinator, Bob Sutton, coached linebackers for the Jets while Mike Pettine was that team’s defensive coordinator.Frank Clark, SeahawksSeattle appears to be making retaining Clark a priority, and with his play on the edge since being drafted in 2015 it’s not hard to see why. Like Lawrence and Ford, he has two double-digit sack seasons, matching Ford’s numbers in 2016 and 2018 with 10 and 13. He added nine sacks in 2017 as well, and he has just enough positional flexibility to be a consideration for teams that run more 3-4 concepts like Green Bay.However, Clark comes with plenty of off-field baggage, specifically a domestic violence allegation from the fall before his draft year and, in 2017 Tramon Williams Jersey , demeaning tweets towards a writer, Natalie Weiner. Weiner had reported on the allegations against Clark for SB Nation’s Field Gulls site in 2015. For Packers fans who care about such things, Clark being taken off the market should be a positive.SafetyLandon Collins, GiantsThe one safety on Schefter’s list is Collins, who burst onto the scene in 2016, his second season. That year, he led the Giants’ defense to a resurgence as a forceful in-the-box safety; his 125 tackles, four sacks, and five interceptions earned him first-team All-Pro honors, and rightfully so.Since then, Collins has been a Pro Bowler twice more, but has not quite lived up to those lofty heights. In fact Paul Hornung Jersey White , 2018 saw him go without an interception, and he broke up just four passes. The question the Packers need to answer this offseason when deciding whether to go after one of the top free agent safeties is if they want a physical box safety like Collins or if a deep cover safety like Earl Thomas will provide a bigger bang for the buck. Personally, I’m very much in favor of Thomas, so a tag for Collins would not bother me in the slightest. Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski missed the Week Seven game at Chicago, and he played in the last game of Week Eight, Monday night at Buffalo. For Sunday night’s Gathering of the GOATs (I’m trying several different ideas; none are all that good), Gronk may not play.Per a league source, he’s a game-time decision, at best. For now, it’s far from certain that Gronkowski, who has lingering ankle and back injuries, will play. For now http://www.packerslockerroom.com/authentic-dave-robinson-jersey , he’s one of 13 Patriots players who have been listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game.If Gronk doesn’t play, it will become even harder for him to earn the $3.3 million in incentives he’s eligible to make this year. He gets $1.1 million for hitting any of these four categories, with a maximum of $3.3 million:聽80 percent playing time; 70 catches; 1,085 receiving yards; and/or nine touchdowns.Currently, he has 29 catches (on pace for 58) for 448 yards (on pace for 896) and a touchdown (on pace for . . . wait for it . . . two). If he misses a second game out of nine, his playing-time percentage will be in the range of 78 percent.

are expensive David Bakhtiari Jersey , and unsurprisingly they’re not selling well.John Graham, who is handling the local promotion in Winnipeg, admitted to the that ticket sales are behind where he thought they’d be at this point, but he said there’s still plenty of time to generate fan interest before the game on August 22.“Did I think coming out of the press conference we would have stronger sales? Yes,” Graham said. “Am I expecting a good push going into the final month? Yes.”Local fans have complained that tickets to the Packers-Raiders preseason game are significantly more expensive than regular-season games for the Canadian Football League’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers. If fans in Winnipeg (and Hawaii, which is also hosting a preseason game this year) prove willing to pay more for preseason tickets, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the NFL put more preseason games in other markets, as the league once did routinely with preseason games overseas. But fans everywhere are well aware of the low quality of preseason games, and it’s understandable if fans conclude those games are not worth the price of admission. A few potential playmakers’ careers were cut painfully short by injury after being selected in the top four rounds of the NFL Draft."The last vision of Jermichael Finley in a Green Bay Packers uniform was the former Texas Longhorn lying on the ground in the fourth quarter of an October 2013 game against Cleveland. Carted off the field with a spinal cord injury, the Packers faithful never again saw the blossoming playmaker catch passes from Aaron Rodgers.Unlike some other notable draft picks in the Ted Thompson era, Green Bay was able to get six seasons from Finley before losing him to a career-ending injury. For the Packers, it was especially unfortunate as they had endured a handful of adventurous seasons with Finley before earning a consistent level of production. Battles with drops and the press defined Finley’s first few seasons in Green Bay before settling into a dangerous receiving rotation with Greg Jennings Womens Quinten Rollins Jersey , Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, and Donald Driver. With the exception of a few glimpses of vertical potential from Jared Cook in 2016, Green Bay has had difficulty replacing Finley’s presence in the offense as both a receiver and decoy. But Finley was not the only game-changing talent lost to severe injury. During a stretch in which the Packers were only a few weapons away from extra Super Bowl appearances, one cannot help but think about some of the lost pieces.Nick CollinsWhile Green Bay was able to get seven years from their three-time Pro Bowl safety, Collins was taken from them far too prematurely. Prior to suffering a neck injury against Carolina in 2011, Collins had started all 16 games in the previous three seasons and had truly become a dynamic player. Intercepting 17 interceptions over those three campaigns, Collins’ production has been unmatched by any Packer since. Even his replacement Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, who put together a Pro Bowl campaign in 2016 with five interceptions and had 14 picks over his five seasons with the team, was not the same steady player. Like Finley, Green Bay is still in search mode to find an equal substitute for Collins’ talent level and fit. Truly trending toward becoming one of the top-five defensive backs in the game at the time of his injury, Collins’ physical presence alone has been missed for the past seven seasons http://www.packerslockerroom.com/authentic-kyle-murphy-jersey , not to mention his turnover-creating prowess.Terrence MurphyIf the Texas A&M standout had been able to run out of the Lambeau Field tunnel for more than two regular season games in his pro career, the 2005 Packer draft could have been one of the all-time greats. But Murphy, picked after Rodgers and Collins in the second round of that year’s draft, was only able to suit up for three games before losing his career to a bruised spinal cord - the same injury as Finley. Things could have turned out much differently for Green Bay had Murphy remained on the field. Thompson was especially proficient at finding second-round receiving gems during his Packers tenure and Murphy was the first selection of that bunch. The loss of depth due to Murphy’s injury helped push Green Bay toward drafting Jennings the following year, James Jones (third round) the next season, and Jordy Nelson a year later. More than that, the Packers might have lost a difference-maker. Murphy was able to win vertically, over the middle, and on screens in college while also returning kicks. He brought a level of internal confidence to the game that would have been a great fit for the final years of Brett Favre in Green Bay.While the Packers have not been short on quality receivers in the past decade and a half, Murphy is the ultimate what-could-have-been offensive piece during that era.Johnathan FranklinSeeking reinforcements at running back in 2013, the Packers drafted Eddie Lacy in the second round and Franklin in the fourth. Lacy’s decline began somewhere in the middle of year three, which would have provided ample opportunity for Franklin to step into the lineup as more than a third-down fixture. Instead Corey Linsley Jersey White , Franklin’s career was finished after 11 games of his rookie season.Franklin, looked kindly upon by Mike McCarthy as a “classy” and “positive” person, suffered a neck injury that closed the running back’s career before it even started. The UCLA product had one memorable game as a Packer, rushing for 103 yards against Cincinnati when injuries to other running backs called him into action. A player who had skills as a rusher as well as a receiver out of the backfield, Franklin could have been the kind of running back to emerge from the group of Lacy, Ty Montgomery, and James Starks over the past five years. Unfortunately, the Packers were never able to truly utilize Franklin in their offense.

the first half when quarterback Kirk Cousins failed to connect with wide receiver Adam Thielen on a third down in Chicago territory. After the play Garrett Bradbury Minnesota Vikings Jerseys , cameras caught Thielen and Cousins engaged in an animated conversation on the sideline that included Cousins appearing to show Thielen how he wanted him to run a route. After the season-ending 24-10 loss, both players downplayed any notion of difficulties between them.Cousins said he “liked the passion back and forth” and wanted to have more conversations like the one that Thielen characterized in a positive light.“It was a little frustration on myself for not getting open and a little frustration with not getting opportunities,” Thielen said, via the . “It definitely wasn’t anything with Kirk. It actually turned out to be a good conversation. We talked a lot about what I could’ve done better and what we could’ve done in the second half to exploit their defense. That’s the great thing about this team. Nobody is taking anything personal. I had to run a better route there. It is what it is.”There figure to be a lot of conversations around the Vikings in light of their failure to make the playoffs a year after losing in the NFC title game. It’s likely some will get even more heated than the one on the sideline this Sunday. With Joe Flacco in, Case Keenum is likely out in Denver. Could Keenum work his way back to Minnesota? That possibility will be quickly dismissed because the Vikings have quarterback Kirk Cousins under contract for two more years Minnesota Vikings Jerseys Stitched , at fully-guaranteed compensation packages of $28 million in 2019 and $30 million in 2020.But let’s not dismiss it immediately. If the Vikings could find a trade partner for the balance of Cousins’ deal, they’d take a cap hit of only $2 million (Cousins received a $3 million signing bonus). The question is whether someone would trade for Cousins’ remaining agreement, at $58 million over two years. There are three teams to possibly watch in this regard. First, the Bengals. New coach Zac Taylor has worked for the past two years with Rams coach Sean McVay, who has worked with and who has a high opinion of Cousins. Taylor told that he’ll be using McVay’s playbook as a starting point for the Bengals Garrett Bradbury black jersey , which would make for a seamless transition, if Cousins were to land in Cincinnati.Second, the Jaguars. Former Vikings offensive coordinator John DeFilippo is now the offensive coordinator in Jacksonville. With DeFilippo also tied to Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, the Jaguars could explore either — and they could leverage the Eagles against the Vikings in order to get the best possible deal.Third, the Giants. Per a league source Garrett Bradbury Jersey Mens , Giants coach Pat Shurmur had lobbied for the Vikings to sign Kirk Cousins before Shurmur became the coach of the Giants. While that may not bode well for Keenum to become a candidate to be signed by New York, it could prompt the Giants to bring Cousins back to the NFC East.Apart from Cousins’ contract is the compensation necessary to effect a trade. If the Vikings’ organization has come to the same conclusion that many Minnesota fans have — that Cousins may not be the guy — maybe the Vikings would take not very much at all in order to wipe Cousins’ contract off the books. Especially if new offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski (who has been with the Vikings since 2006) believes in the guy who took the Vikings to the final four in 2017.

The first session, which took place under perfect conditions, saw the two teams focus primarily on the passing game during the 2-hour, 30-minute session — one that saw the Patriots’ youngsters on both sides of the football deliver some solid performances.Let’s recap what happened:AttendanceAbsent: SS Patrick Chung, CB Ken Webster (PUP), SS Nate Ebner (PUP), OT Yodny Cajuste (NFI), WR Cameron Meredith, TE Lance KendricksPresent but did not participate: WR Julian Edelman (NFI), WR Demaryius Thomas (PUP), RB Rex BurkheadPresent but limited: OT Isaiah WynnAfter wearing a red non-contact jersey all camp long, Patrick Chung was a no-show for today’s full-pads session. This is no surprise considering that the team is playing it safe with injuries. The five non-Chung absentees all did not fly to Detroit and instead remain in New England for more rehabilitation work.Danny Etling again did not wear the red non-contact jersey that quarterbacks are usually in.InjuriesNothing to report.OffenseQuarterback performance: Tom Brady 13/20 (11-on-11s), 6/7 (7-on-7s); Brian Hoyer 1/3 (11-on-11s), 3/4 (7-on-7s); Jarrett Stidham 2/3 INT (11-on-11s) Womens Montee Ball Jersey , 10/12 (7-on-7s); Danny Etling N/AStarting offensive line: LT Dan Skipper, LG Joe Thuney, OC David Andrews, RG Shaq Mason, RT Marcus CannonPractice started in a walkthrough setting in which the Patriots used both Dan Skipper and Isaiah Wynn at left tackle. New England is continuing to slowly build Wynn up to full speed after he missed all of his 2018 rookie season because of an Achilles injury. And while the former first-round draft pick did again participate in individual drills, he sat out both competitive 1-on-1s versus the Lions’ defenders and 11-on-11 work. The Patriots’ wide receivers looked more competitive going against Detroit’s secondary than against their own. The highlights of 1-on-1 work were two leaping catches made by rookie receivers N’Keal Harry and Jakobi Meyers, who out-jumped their opponents to come down with the football. The two youngsters generally had a productive practice against the Lions, and were prominently featured during 11-on-11 segments. The final two-minute drill at the end of practice saw the Patriots use a skill position group consisting of running back James White, tight end Benjamin Watson, and wide receivers Phillip Dorsett, Jakobi Meyers and Braxton Berrios — a continuation of similar situational packages used over the course of the first eight practices. Brady and the offense looked good, but ultimately had to settle for a field goal after stalling near the goal line.DefenseLinebacker Jamie Collins continues to be a playmaker for the Patriots defense. Today, he forced another fumble when he knocked the football loose during a 7-on-7 drill. Collins joined New England on a comparatively cheap deal but he is looking more and more like a lock to make the roster. If his practice performance translates onto the field, the offseason acquisition will be a big asset for the team this year. For the first time all camp, cornerback Stephon Gilmore surrendered a catch — which just shows how incredibly tight Gilmore has covered through the first eight training camp practices. The player beating him http://www.patriotslockerroom.com/authentic-troy-niklas-jersey , by the way, was no other than former Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola who caught a pin-point pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford.Defensive edge Shilique Calhoun has quietly produced a very solid training camp so far, and today’s session was more of the same: the former third-round draft pick, who was signed by the Patriots as a free agent this offseason, ran with the first-team and looked very comfortable in 1-on-1 drills. While New England is deep along the defensive line, Calhoun can be seen as a dark-horse candidate to make the club.Fellow edge defender Chase Winovich, a lock to make the team due to his third-round draft status, also looked solid. During two-minute work near the end of the session, the rookie found himself in the backfield twice and would have taken down the opposing quarterback for two sacks had he been allowed to finish the plays. Winovich is taking strides.D’Angelo Ross continues to put up a fight for one of the depth cornerback spots. The undrafted rookie, who ran with the third team defense today, had an interception during 11-on-11 work. It will be tough for him to make the roster given all the talent ahead of him on the depth chart, but he sure is not going down without a fight.Special teamsCamp standout Jakobi Meyers joined the group of punt returners today, the first time we have seen the undrafted rookie receiver in this role. Given that he muffed a punt at one point during team drills, however, the experiment might be a short one. The other punt returners Ja'Whaun Bentley Jersey , meanwhile, were all familiar faces: N’Keal Harry, Braxton Berrios and Gunner Olszewski. CINCINNATI (AP) — Andy Dalton has a reserved parking space near to the players’ entrance at Paul Brown Stadium this year. The leisurely walk reminds him that he’s no longer an up-and-comer.The chances to break that long playoff drought are starting to dwindle for the 30-year-old quarterback.Coming off one of his least-productive seasons, Dalton is the focus of a reconfigured offense that will put more emphasis on long plays. The Bengals showed flashes of it during preseason. In the opener, Dalton completed 6 of 8 passes, four of them for at least 20 yards — a satisfying showing for an offense that was among the worst at big plays last season.Dalton completed 71 percent of his throws in preseason with four touchdowns, one interception — the receiver fell on his route — and a passer rating of 130.9.“I felt real comfortable with the way I played,” Dalton said Wednesday. “With the way this offense has moved and the way we’re doing things, I feel really good about where we are.”The Bengals finished last in the league in yards last season, a franchise-worst showing. Much of it was linked to a line that couldn’t open holes for running backs or protect Dalton, who threw for the fewest yards of his career in a full season.Interim coordinator Bill Lazor was retained at the end of the season and given latitude to overhaul the playbook, with more of an emphasis on big plays. Despite some misgivings about an adjustment period, the offense had few glitches during the preseason.“He (Lazor) feels comfortable with it, and our guys feel comfortable with it,” Dalton said. “The big thing is we’re playing fast.”The offense gets its first real test Sunday at Indianapolis Womens Phillip Dorsett Jersey , a place where the Bengals haven’t won since 1997. Much of the focus will be on the revamped line featuring new starters at four positions — left guard Clint Boling is the only holdover. The line was better at giving Dalton time during the preseason, although it still had some rough times against Dallas.“Any time the quarterback has time and the ability to stop into his throws, you feel like you’re going to be able to put the ball in a good spot,” Dalton said. “It’s a big part of the reason we had the success we did in the preseason.”Dalton helped the Bengals reach the playoffs in each of his first five seasons from 2011-15, losing in the first round each time. They’ve failed to reach the playoffs each of the past two seasons. Cincinnati hasn’t won a playoff game since the 1990 season, the sixth-longest streak of postseason futility in NFL history.Dalton is entering his eighth season on one of the NFL’s youngest teams. Only five players have more experience. Punter Kevin Huber, long snapper Clark Harris and defensive end Michael Johnson are in their 10th seasons. Defensive end Carlos Dunlap and defensive tackle Geno Atkins are in their ninth seasons.Dalton, receiver A.J. Green and Boling are the oldest veterans on offense, each in their eighth seasons.Coach Marvin Lewis awards parking places near the players’ entrance to those with the most experience. Dalton has graduated to one of the coveted spots.“I feel like I’m one of the oldest on the team,” he said.INJURY UPDATESLeft tackle Cordy Glenn was limited in practice Wednesday because of a shoulder injury suffered during the preseason. Receiver Cody Core was held out with a back injury.BAD DAYS IN INDYThe Bengals are looking to break a streak of eight straight losses in Indianapolis, including a 26-10 playoff defeat in the first round of the 2014 season. Dalton was only 18 of 35 for 155 yards in an offense missing an injured Green.

Giants injury report Jonathan Stewart Jerseys 2019 , 9/26: Olivier Vernon limited, but practices for first time this season Olivier Vernon, out all season due to a high ankle sprain, was a limited practice participant on Wednesday for the New York Giants. That leads to optimism that Vernon could play for the first time this Sunday when the Giants face the New Orleans Saints.Eli Apple (groin) did not practice. Damon Harrison did not practice, but this is believed to be more of a rest day than an injury concern for the big defensive tackle. The Giants need all the defensive help they can muster as they get ready to face the prolific New Orleans offense. Led by Drew Brees White Nate Solder Jerseys , the Saints are second in the league in scoring at more than 34 points per game.Vernon, who suffered his injury midway through the preseason, has yet to play in a regular-season game. That’s probably the first time I threw a pass to Odell. Both growing up in New Orleans, we went to the same high school. We had a number of great years and big plays and exciting plays here. Unfortunately this business, teammates move on and go to different places, whether it’s trades or retirement or whatnot. You go through it, and sometimes it’s just not a happy ending. It rarely ends happily for anybody in this league White Kareem Martin Jerseys , but obviously feelings get hurt and things happen. People say things. But I think we both want to move on. We both have our futures to look forward to, and this upcoming season to look forward to, and I wish him nothing but the best and success.”Asked if he still has a good relationship with Beckham, Manning answered, “I hope so. You know Kareem Martin Jerseys 2019 , we haven’t talked a whole lot since everything happened, but, I hope, eventually all of this gets put behind and we can just enjoy the places where we are right now and what’s going forward and just kind of laugh about this one day.”Given the current trajectories of the Browns and Giants, it may be Beckham who gets the last laugh. But Manning will try to show that he and the Giants can move on without their star receiver.

the McDermott era to predict a playing-time leader board" OpinionNotesPredicting the Buffalo Bills’ defensive-line rotationNew White Lorenzo Alexander Jerseys ,15commentsWe checked out the snap-count data for the duration of the McDermott era to predict a playing-time leader boardEDTUnder head coach Sean McDermott and defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, the Buffalo Bills have deployed a heavy rotation along the defensive line. While two players have dominated the snaps at their respective positions, they each played far less than they did under McDermott’s predecessor, Rex Ryan.In 2016, Ryan’s last season as head coach, Jerry Hughes led all Bills edge defenders in snaps, and Kyle Williams led all of Buffalo’s interior defensive linemen in snaps. Hughes played on 856 snaps, or 79.93% of the team’s total, while Williams played on 794 snaps, or 74.14% of the team’s total. Both men also led the Bills in snaps at their respective positions in 2017 and 2018, as well; however, they did so with a reduced workload. Hughes has played on roughly two-thirds of Buffalo’s defensive snaps since 2017, playing on 735 snaps in 2017 (66.34%) and 668 snaps in 2018 (65.88%). Williams had a similar workload, playing on 756 snaps (68.23%) in 2017 and on 656 snaps (64.69%) in 2018. Under McDermott and Frazier, the starting defensive line group has seen an overall reduction in time, while the reserve group has seen an uptick in playing time. Here is Buffalo’s distribution of defensive-line snaps over the last two seasons:<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="w2xNOS">2018DE1—Hughes (668; 65.88%)DT1—Williams (656; 64.69%)DT2—Lotulelei (475; 46.84%)DE2—Murphy/Lawson (440; 43.39%)DE3—Yarbrough (307; 30.28%) DT3—H.Phillips (389; 38.36%)DT4—J.Phillips (268; 26.43%)2017DE1—Hughes (735; 66.34%)DT1—Williams (756; 68.23%)DT2—A.Washington (509; 45.94%)DE2—Yarbrough (462; 41.7%)DE3—R.Davis (457; 41.25%)DT3—Thornton (387; 34.93%)DT4—Dareus (138; 12.5%)/Coleman (129; 11.64%)/Worthy (115; 10.38%)DE4—Lawson (436; 39.35%)<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="qNdjUw">Two things jumped out at me right away. First off, man, that was not a good defensive line group in 2017. Neither Ryan Davis nor Cedric Thornton even suited up for an NFL team in 2018, yet they were among Buffalo’s top-line rotation players in 2017. Adolphus Washington managed to play in five games and Marcell Dareus in 15, but it’s amazing that Buffalo squeezed as much as they did out of as little as they had that season. The other thing that stood out is the percentage of snaps played by the reserves. In 2018 Lorenzo Alexander Jerseys 2019 , the Bills finally found a grouping that they liked and, as a result, each of the top eight defensive linemen played on at least one quarter of the team’s defensive snaps. If this is the template for 2019, then we should expect that the team will follow that path barring injury.Speaking of injuries, those have caused the second defensive-end position to be a group effort over the last two seasons. Shaq Lawson dealt with injuries in 2017 and Trent Murphy dealt with them in 2018, leading to a far greater split than I’d imagine the coaching staff wanted. While it seems to be a given that Hughes will lead the defensive ends in snaps, most likely by playing on 66% of them, the race for the second defensive-end spot will be more competitive.Without Williams along the interior defensive line, the easy guess would be for rookie Ed Oliver to step in and take over most, if not all, of those snaps. However, Jordan Phillips has played with the first team this summer, so if Oliver is going to step up and take those snaps, he’ll have to earn them. Star Lotulelei will probably play around half of the snaps again, with Harrison Phillips playing between 35 and 50 percent as well. I think most of us imagine a “top-four” defensive line of Hughes, Oliver, Lotulelei, and Murphy, with the second wave including Lawson, both Phillipses White Ramon Humber Jerseys , and either Eddie Yarbrough, Eli Harold, or Mike Love. However, there is a possibility that Lawson cracks that top group, especially if Murphy is injured or ineffective, and that seventh-round draft choice Darryl Johnson earns a spot in the second group. In any case, the Bills will rotate heavily along the defensive line again in order to keep their top unit fresh. PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) — New Buffalo Bills wide receiver Corey Coleman can’t escape reminders of Cleveland no matter how hard he’s tried to put his two seasons with the Browns in the past.First, there was the second episode of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series on Tuesday, which detailed how a frustrated Coleman demanded the Browns trade him. And then on Friday, the 2016 first-round draft pick is expected to make his Bills debut in a preseason game at Cleveland.“Hey, it’s going to be weird. But I’m not out there anymore,” Coleman said. “I’m just treating it like any other game.”As for TV cameras capturing his final days with the Browns, Coleman said he didn’t watch the episode but friends sent him clips. One features Coleman in his vehicle exiting the Browns’ parking lot for the last time and saying: “Adios, Cleveland.”“It is what it is. Nothing really to explain,” Coleman told The Associated Press on Wednesday. He added he bears “no hard feelings” toward the Browns.Coleman appeared to have different feelings a few weeks ago when cameras filmed him entering Browns coach Hue Jackson’s office and questioning why he was demoted to practicing with the second stringers.Jackson told Coleman to ask offensive coordinator Todd Haley.Coleman responded by saying: “If you don’t want me to play, why don’t you all just trade me?”Coleman confirmed to the AP that he asked the Browns to trade him. In a sign of how far Coleman’s stock has fallen since being drafted with the No. 15 pick out of Baylor, Buffalo had to give up only a 2020 seventh-round selection to acquire him on Aug. 5.The 24-year-old will be best remembered in Cleveland for two injury-shortened seasons and far too many dropped passes. The worst occurred late in the fourth quarter of last season’s finale at Pittsburgh that sealed the Browns’ 0-16 finish.Coleman caught 56 of the 131 passes thrown in his direction for 718 yards and five touchdowns in 19 games. In Buffalo, he joins an offense in transition, featuring a new coordinator Ramon Humber Jerseys 2019 , Brian Daboll, and a three-way quarterback competition, including rookie first-round pick Josh Allen. It’s also an offense that lacks proven receivers behind starter Kelvin Benjamin.Coleman’s first challenge is learning a new playbook and building chemistry with the three quarterbacks. He’s not made much of a splash during his first week of practice, splitting time mostly with the second- and third-stringers.On Wednesday, Coleman drew cheers when making an arms-outstretched leaping catch deep up the left sideline, only to have one foot land out of bounds. Before one snap during practice Tuesday, an offensive assistant went up to Coleman and directed him where to line up.On the plus side, Coleman spends time working after practice and is usually among the last players off the field.Coach Sean McDermott’s intention for Friday is to see how much Coleman can handle, as opposed to easing him in.“We’re getting to the point now where it needs to be the former in terms of: ‘Here’s the playbook. You’ve got to know it,'” McDermott said. “The biggest thing is that we want him to come out, play fast, and play physical.”Daboll said he has no preconceptions toward Coleman based on what happened in Cleveland.“I just go by what I see,” Daboll said. “He works hard. He’s on time. He asks good questions.”Coleman’s approach hasn’t changed since arriving at Bills camp saying he’s looking forward to a fresh start and wants to be measured by how he responds to what happened in Cleveland.“Don’t take a day out here for granted,” Coleman said this week. “My main goal is getting better and helping the Buffalo Bills win.”NOTES: The Bills had no update on Benjamin, who practiced on a limited basis for a second consecutive day. … DE Trent Murphy has been sidelined by a groin injury for a second time in three weeks and is expected to miss his second consecutive preseason game. … The Bills broke camp in suburban Rochester, New York, on Wednesday and will resume practice at their headquarters on Sunday.

BEREA Larry Ogunjobi Color Rush Jersey , Ohio (AP) — Rookie linebacker Mack Wilson is trending in a positive direction at Browns training camp and on social media. The fifth-round pick from Alabama was the only NFL player with two interceptions in the opening week of the preseason — returning one for a touchdown — and is building a reputation as a ballhawk with four picks over the first 12 camp practices.Wilson doesn’t have the star power of teammates Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr. or Jarvis Landry, but is making a surprising impact for the No. 155 overall selection in the draft.“Look at Big Al, he struggled early in camp, but just kept working and kept his head down, and he continues to get better,” Cleveland coach Freddie Kitchens said Saturday after practice. “Having problems right away is not something you want to go through, but if you come through the other side, you’re a better player than you were before.”Kitchens has a natural affinity for Wilson, giving him a nickname that refers to their bond as Crimson Tide alumni. Browns fans have taken to him, as well, because of his expressions of love toward Cleveland on Twitter and Instagram. The 6-foot-1, 233-pounder proclaimed himself “the best linebacker in the draft” after falling to the fifth. He played like it Thursday in the Browns’ 30-10 win over Washington, then left FirstEnergy Stadium wearing the jersey of Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton.Wilson returned a short pass by Dwayne Haskins 40 yards for a pick-six in the second quarter and snared a downfield throw by Josh Woodrum in the fourth, just as he had predicted to roommate Sione Takitaki the night before.“I was like, ‘Taki, I’m going to catch two interceptions. I’m going to crib one and I might just catch one,'” Wilson said. “It’s crazy. It’s unbelievable. I can’t really put it into words. I’m just thankful for having these guys as teammates and helping me get interceptions.”Third-round pick Takitaki, who is playing alongside Wilson on the second-team defense, confirmed the story. Kitchens indicated that both linebackers are likely to take reps with the ones later in camp.“Mack is a confident kid and sometimes I’m like http://www.brownsfanshop.com/Sione-Takitaki-Jersey , ‘Yeah, we’ll see,’ but I think I’m going to start believing him now,” Takitaki said, laughing. “He told me the same thing before warmups, that he was going to get two. After the second one, I was like, ‘Dang, you made it happen.'”Wilson credits playing quarterback, running back and wide receiver at Montgomery (Alabama) Carver High for giving him a “nose for the ball,” but admits “it’s hard to explain why. It’s just something I have, I guess.”“I had a good game, but there’s always room for improvement,” he continued. “My mindset is to continue to keep that chip on my shoulder until we win a Super Bowl.”Browns general manager John Dorsey feels strongly that Wilson will be successful in the NFL, but he and Kitchens aren’t forcing him into the fire.Veterans Christian Kirksey, Joe Schobert and Ray-Ray Armstrong sit atop the linebacker depth chart and provide a level of consistency that the first-year coach has yet to see from his flashing rookie.“Just because Mack makes two splash plays, you didn’t see the busted assignments,” Kitchens said. “He has busted assignments out here on the practice field. Not to take anything away from his play, but I want to see him coming back from those bad plays.“He has to show he can win his one-on-one battles. Then, maybe Greedy Williams Jersey , he gets that right to spend some time with the first group.”NOTESRB Kareem Hunt took part in team drills for the first time. For the Cleveland Browns, that was a little bit different this year. Out of 30 tryout players, the team decided to sign 3 of them (10%). Here are the new additions to the Browns:FB/RB Trayone Gray - 6-1, 233 lbs. - MiamiLB Willie Harvey - 5-11, 230 lbs. - Iowa StateCB Jhavonte Dean - 6-1, 185 lbs. - MiamiOn top of being fortunate to make the team as tryout players, both Gray and Dean played for Miami in college. Gray was Dane Brugler’s 47th-ranked running back in this year’s class, while Dean was the 91st-ranked cornerback. Harevey was his 102nd-ranked linebacker. With the good comes the bad, as Cleveland had to say goodbye to three players in corresponding moves: RB Darrin Hall, LB Xavier Woodson-Luster, and CB Ashton Lampkin. Some fans may chuckle at themselves a bit about seeing Hall’s name there if they were among the group who made early predictions that he would make the team’s 53-man roster. Lampkin and Woodson-Luster were signed by GM John Dorsey late last season.

GREEN BAY https://www.thepackersfanshop.com/Montravius-Adams-Jersey , Wis. 鈥?How fortunes have changed in less than two years for the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers. The participants in the NFC title game in January 2017 are floundering this season. That’s really ultimately what wins games,” Philbin said. “Schemes are important, but not as important as playing guys together and playing with great effort and playing fundamentally sound. That’s really the focus.”The Packers have lost three straight and five of six. They need lots of help to get into the postseason even if they can somehow win their last four games.“I think everybody’s kind of realizing that we’re all under the microscope even more. Who knows what the changes are going to be after the season,” quarterback Aaron Rodgers said. “So I feel like the energy was good today. Unfortunately the urgency that you need early in the season, we kind of had out in practice today.”Other notes and things to watch:10View Gallery Gallery:Potential head coaching candidates for the PackersRODGERS RECORD WATCHAt least the game could be worth watching for the quarterback play. Rodgers’ 61.8 percent completion rate this year is his lowest since 2015 (60.7 percent), though he has thrown just one interception all season. Rodgers has thrown a franchise-record 336 attempts without an interception, trailing only New England’s Tom Brady (358 in 2010-11) for longest such stretch in league history.THIRD-QUARTER BLUESOne of the Falcons’ goals for the week is to jump-start their abysmal third-quarter scoring. Atlanta has been outscored 71-34 in third quarters, including 6-0 in last week’s 26-16 loss to Baltimore. The Falcons ran only five plays and held the ball less than two minutes in the quarter. By contrast, the Falcons’ 115 second-quarter points and 107 fourth-quarter points rank among the top five in the league.CALLING PLAYSPhilbin Jake Ryan Jersey , the former Dolphins head coach in his second stint as a Packers assistant, has extensive experience coaching and putting together offensive game plans. But the previous time that Philbin called plays was when he was a college assistant at Northeastern in 1995-96. He’ll聽assume those duties again聽on Sunday since McCarthy was the play-caller in Green Bay. Of course, the Packers also have a veteran at quarterback in Rodgers who is often at his best out of the pocket when a play breaks down.WELCOME BACKThe Falcons have lost eight players to injured reserve this season, including long snapper Josh Harris this week. They finally had a key starter return from IR last week when linebacker Deion Jones set a career high with 15 tackles and a sack against the Ravens. Jones missed 10 games after suffering a broken right foot in the opener against Philadelphia. Jones’ 15 tackles were the most by a Falcons player this season.RUN TIMEThe Falcons have the NFL’s worst rushing attack, averaging just 79 yards a game. They were held to 34 on the ground last week聽against Baltimore聽, a week after a season-low 26 against the Saints.“When we’re at our best, we’re running the football and we’re able to create play-action passes,” quarterback Matt Ryan said. This might be the week they get things going. The veteran replied to a post about Savage on the team’s Instagram account this week by writing that the rookie is “gonna be special.” That echoed what he had to say as the team’s offseason program was coming to an end.“He’s going to be that guy — I can tell. We definitely got a steal,” Adams said, via Jason Wilde of the . “I know we got him early, but I still think that he could have gone even earlier just based on what he’s doing out there. He plays like a vet, he knows how to practice, and he’s smart, man. You can tell just the way he operates — the way he’s smart, how he operates just around the facility, just a real cool guy. I like his personality, too. I think we’ll be having him around for a while.”Defensive back Tramon Williams shares Adams’s feelings about Savage’s intelligence and said it’s something the team needed at the back end of the defense. Assuming everyone’s opinion remains high, it’s a good bet that Savage will be starting his pro career with a major role in Green Bay.

https://www.coltsfanshop.com/Chester-Rogers-Jersey , that a 49-yard field goal against the Falcons wasn’t the most important one he’s lined up for. Unless it was. After missing five kicks in the first two weeks, the 46-year-old needed the bounced-in 49-yarder to regain his footing, as he continued on a perfect 5-of-5 (two field goals, three extra points) against the Falcons.“Right, wrong or indifferent, you probably put a little more pressure on yourself,” Vinatieri said, via Bob Kravitz of TheAthletic.com. “Coming off the week we did Antonio Morrison Jersey , I tried not to think about it and just focus in.”If he didn’t put the pressure on himself, the Colts added a little of their own by working out six kickers last week, just in case the league’s all-time leading scorer didn’t bounce back.“That’s part of the game,” Vinatieri said. “If you’re not doing your job well, they’re needing to find other things. I didn’t think too terribly much about it all. It just about me doing my job well. If you don’t do your job, it speaks for itself.”When he went out for the first one, the home crowd cheered him as he took the field, an offer of support that didn’t waver inside his own locker room.“He proved everybody wrong Kenny Moore Color Rush Jersey ,” tight end Eric Ebron said. “Now everybody can shut the hell up about it and let him do his thing. He’s been doing this for 20-something years, more than most people have been alive talking about him. Let him do his thing. We trust in him. Case closed.”At least for another week. Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich had his weekly conference call with the media today.Reich confirmed today that second year pass rusher Kemoko Turay suffered a broken ankle and dislocation in Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. This means Turay will be out for the season and go on the teams injured reserve. It is a very hard one to swallow especially as Turay has been very good this year rushing the passer and was a big part of how the Colts defense was consistently able to pressure Patrick Mahomes. This could mean a bigger role now for rookie Ben Banogu. Reich mentioned that the Colts defense game planned to play more man coverage. It was evident to see the defense play more man coverage, Reich mentioned it was used to try to disrupt the timing of Chiefs offense by trying to slow them down. The amount of man coverage the Colts defense used was not typical for the team, as they usually are a zone heavy defense. However, the fact that the defense was able to adapt to match up with one of the best offenses in the league shows lots of promise heading forward.

the San Francisco 49ers is a rather pleasant one. For starters Tre Flowers Color Rush Jersey , Doug Baldwin and Bradley McDougald aren’t on the list whatsoever, so they’re good to go for Sunday. In fact, only five players in total have some sort of injury designation.Listed as questionable is DT Shamar Stephen, who’s battling a foot injury. Doubtful are fullback Tre Madden, who hurt his chest on that 28-yard catch he made against the Carolina Panthers, and safety Shalom Luani, who’s dealing with a quadriceps problem. Seattle doesn’t have a fullback other than Madden, so my personal solution is George Fant at fullback, but I don’t run the team.As for two players confirmed out, linebacker K.J. Wright is still getting treatment on his injured knee, so he’s missing another game, but Mychal Kendricks will return from suspension next week, which is a major help. To the surprise of no one, C.J. Prosise has somehow managed a new injury David Moore Color Rush Jersey , and whatever abdomen issue he’s dealing with has rendered him unable to play yet again. He’s been a healthy scratch in several games this year, but the oft-injured Prosise now adds to his list of ailments. With JD McKissic returning from his own injury, they could just put Prosise on IR and move on from him in the offseason. For the 49ers, wide receiver Pierre Garcon, defensive back D.J. Reed, and guard Joshua Garnett are out with injuries, while a personal issue has led to the speedy Marquise Goodwin not being available for a second straight week. Chris Carson lost two fumbles in his first two seasons, over 18 games. The Seahawks running back has lost one in each of the first three games this season. The Seahawks aren’t ready to bench him, though.Instead, they will try “every way possible” to fix Carson’s fumbling problems. “Because we do believe in him, we’re going to continue to show him that,” coach Pete Carroll said, via Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR and PFT. “He’s a terrific football player, and we want to make sure and maintain that level of play from him https://www.theseahawksfanshop.com , so we’ll work at it and work with him on it. There’s a lot of technical stuff that’s really important, right down to the last instant of that play that he fumbled on there’s another thing that he could do to ensure taking care of the ball a little bit longer. He thought he was secure and thought he was taking care of it and bang all of a sudden the ball comes out. That’s life you know. That’s real in the league and all that. He’s going to have to be really on because guys are going to continue to come after him just like anybody would.”Carson, who had 1,151 yards and nine touchdowns last season, has 45 carries for 159 yards and one touchdown so far this season. He also has 10 catches for 59 yards and a touchdown.“I like the way he’s playing,” Carroll said. “I love the style of play. Out of the backfield, he’s added to his game. He’s still running physical and tough and doing all the things that we’re counting on. There’s nobody that we’d rather have have the ball in short-yardage situations and down by the goal line. He’s great at it.”The Seahawks will see the return of running back Rashaad Penny to practice at some point this week, Carroll said, so Penny will give the team another option at the position. Penny injured his hamstring in the Week Two game against Pittsburgh and missed Sunday.“He’ll be able to practice this week too, probably by Thursday to some degree,” Carroll said. “We need to see if he can tolerate it and what that means. We don’t know that yet.”
